It's 2012!

We are well into a new year, and I haven't blogged for a while.  Things at work have been very hectic, and having had 2 colds since Christmas, I have been using the weekend to catch up on much needed sleep!
Over Christmas I did a couple of shifts at Creswell Library, which was great.  It's lovely to see some of the familiar faces that used the library when I used to work there.  Sometimes on a Saturday morning it can seem like a coffee morning, with lots of people from the village catching up with each other, talking about families and books and generally putting the world to rights.  We must keep shouting for public libraries!
School has been very busy and demanding.  The behaviour of the students continues to improve, although there are always the odd few who are determined to buck the trend.  We have started to process some of the new stock that we purchased at the end of last year, and are pleased to find books that we can't remember buying!  Jacqueline Wilson's 'Lily Alone' will go down a storm with the girls.
